This is QiGong meditation, which has a very powerful healing energy that you can connect to within your own body and feel that energy circulate and balance your whole self.
The storehouse of energy is called the Dantian which is below the naval so if you place your thumb on your naval and let the rest of your hand fall gently below, that’s where your Dantian is.
It’s between the red and the orange chakra, if that’s something that you are familiar with, but it is not associated with one or the other. Actually the yogi chakras are a little bit different, but we can go into more detail another time.
I am very excited to share with you today and I want to bring something that is very unique to your attention… people often talk about higher power and my consciousness is for us to connect us to our higher purpose .. so when we go out to the day, we can create a positive result. We do not have control over the flow of the day, however, when we are balanced things work out well.
So we want to connect to that positivity and interject that positivity right now. Connect to the idea that things work out well, so that when things are uncomfortable, we stay calm. This is the key in the to manifesting positive results from meditation into your real life. When things are uncomfortable, we stay calm, therefore we don’t become reactive. We don’t become angry, we don’t become sad, we don’t become depressed.
Now if you are already there, then yes of course you can still use this to get out of that place. However, it’s even better to try to prevent it in the first place.
This meditation is naturally healing, by protecting ourselves from those negative emotions and experiences. Qi gong is very focused on healing.
Qi gong is very, very gentle and simple but very in-depth at the same time.
You can sit in a chair comfortably with your feet on the ground, and like I had mentioned before you can place your hand below the navel. That way you can feel that energy there.
You may or may not feel the energy right away. It may take a couple of times before you start building that energy or that connection to the energy that that’s there. You might feel it warm.
Some ppl have commented feeling slightly aroused. If that’s the case then it’s just imbalance that can be corrected easily. It’s supposed to be feel settled. To adjust the energy you can either think about moving the energy a little bit up towards the belly button or down away from the belly button and see if the energy resets to a gentle, simmering, settled energy that should be calm, grounded and focused.
The Qi gong energy can be compared to when you’re in the middle of playing a game and your so focused that it’s all you’re thinking about. Flowing from one step to the next. It’s mindless, but you’re not actually mindless. You’re focused on something and getting it done. It becomes actually your whole entire world. Everything else melts away. So when we focus on the breath, the breath becomes our whole entire world, and we can inject this positive energy. Focus on the positive energy radiating within ourselves.
Continue breathing. Inhale. Exhale.
Feel your feet on the ground and do this for a couple more times.
