What are spiritual values?

Spirituality means being positive to grow and change from failure to improvement. Religion can be too negative which is why some people turn away from religion. Go to religion, they will tell you “we are all sinners”, so to me, it’s like, “OK. Then what makes a difference to change at that point? I might as well enjoy my life!” So when I talk to people about their life, I come from the perspective of spiritual values. Values bring structure, meaning and purpose to life.

The spirituality is called Daoism. It talks about family values and peaceful relations between people. Instead of a “religious” stand point that can often push people away because it’s too judgmental, Daoism guides people towards peace while remaining safe guards for the soul. Not all spiritualities are safe for the soul!

Lastly, Daoism aligns with the Bible. If someone is Jewish, Christian, or another faith, these values are Universal. It also means they must be true for everybody.  The messages are the same, even though the words are different.
