Admit you don’t want to do it.

Admit you don’t want to do it.

You can’t take care of someone else without taking care of yourself although sometimes we need to do it anyway. Admit it. You don’t want to.

When you admit to yourself your own selfishness, and you know what you don’t want to do, then you can make better decisions to prioritize yourself and manage helping those around you. You will figure out what you honestly need to do, what you should do, what you want to do, and what you’re willing to do. Then you can make a real plan to do get it done fairly.

So next time you have a conflict of interest, admit  to yourself honestly what you want.

Use the non judgmental attitude of Daoism. It is what it is.
Remove judgment.

Then figure out what you can do, what you should do, what you’re willing to do, and how to do it.
